Given the social stigma associated with approaching and accessing Mental Health and Counselling Services in our society, it was incumbent on us that we developed a structure of our service delivery which respects the rights of the individuals for confidentiality and therefore make a confidential, discretely accessible and culturally appropriate counselling service to them.     

Respectable professional Earning potential:

Insight Counselling Services essentially has created a market place for counselling professionals to earn a handsome and respectable professional income.  All those professionals, who are empanelment with us, will have an earning potential to earn themselves an income in the range from as little as ₹ 1 LAC to as much as 16 LACs per annum.  Following table gives you an indicative potential annual earning which is directly proportional to the number of hours between 5 to 48 per week one may choose to commit and work.  Actual payments to counsellors will be determined mainly by the market forces and our ability to charge our clients as much as we have planned to charge them.  Therefore, the following table should be read as an indication only to guide your decision and should not be taken as our implicit or explicit promise of payment.  From time to time, we may be required to respond to the needs and demands of the market and accordingly our charges and payment may fluctuat.

Insight Counselling Services, however, neither, implicitly or explicitly, make any promise to offer you any work nor expect you to accept any offer of work.     

Flexible working conditions:

As a practicing counsellor with Insight Counselling Services, it gives you flexible working conditions. Whether you are already in a full time or a part time job or you are available only for a few or more hours per week during evenings and weekends, you can choose as many days of the week between Monday to Sunday and choose as little or as many hours from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm that you may wish to work with us and customize your working life. We only expect you to give us a weekly commitment of at least 5 counselling sessions per week;   Empanelment as a counsellor, as already stated earlier, is not an employment with Insight Counselling Services. Your employment status will be that of a Self-Employed person responsible for all regulatory and statutory obligation with respect to your income tax. We, therefore, advise you to clarify your position before joining with us as an empanelled counsellor and ensure that it does not raise any conflict of interest or breach any of your contractual obligations that you may have with your current employer.  For example, if you are already in an employment with another employer, please make sure that your employer doesn't object to your empanelment with us, if this is applicable to you   Once you are empanelled with us, you will be free to accept or reject counselling requests at your will so long as your average take up of work remains an average of 5 counselling sessions per week. In the same way, we are not obliged to give you any work.  You will be free to take a break, from counselling commitment, for as long as you wish, so long as your cumulative average is 250 counselling sessions per year.

How do counsellors get paid?

• All payments are online
   
• Every time you complete a counselling session with a client, you will be required to complete and submit a counselling session report;
   
• These reports will be checked for its quality and appropriateness by a supervisor;
   
• Supervisor will send your report back to you for correction or improvement, if required;
   
• Supervisor's approval will constitute a completion of the session and would trigger the release of appropriate payment into your account wallet in the system;
   
• You will be able to transfer money from your wallet into an authorised personal bank account at any time.
